Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to help you understand our admission process.

ROAR currently accepts students into Years 7 to 11, depending on readiness and availability of places.

Placement is based on age, academic readiness, and learning needs to ensure each student starts at the right level.

Yes.

All applicants participate in a short trial experience, typically a minimum of three school days. This allows students to experience the learning environment while helping our educators assess readiness and determine the appropriate level of support.

The timeline varies depending on scheduling and readiness.

Most families complete the full process, from enquiry to offer, within two to three weeks after the trial classes are completed.

We assess each student’s readiness during the trial period and interview.

If additional support is needed, we will discuss appropriate strategies with families before confirming placement. Our goal is to ensure that every student enrolled to the school can succeed in our learning environment.

Yes, ROAR's intake is open all year round. However, successful enrolment is dependent on availability of places, student readiness, and alignment with the ROAR learning model.

Our team will review each case individually to ensure a smooth transition.

Families will typically be asked to provide:

  • Student’s identification or passport

  • Latest school reports or transcripts

  • Medical or learning support information (if applicable)

  • Completed registration form

Additional documents may be requested where necessary.

An offer letter will be issued after:

  • Completion of the trial classes

  • Review of readiness and fit

  • Discussion with parents and student

Families are usually notified within a few working days after the trial period.

No.

Admission decisions are based on overall readiness, attitude, and alignment with the learning environment, not academic results alone.

We aim to ensure the right fit for both the student and the school.
